The small business entrepreneur is taking on a new face and wearing many hats as the role of this business owner is changing. Most of the entrepreneurs today have learned to multi-task and actually rise above the challenges associated with a small business.

Nowadays these owners are expected to face the tasks of building, establishing, maintaining and looking ahead determining where the business should be in the years to come.

For this operation to be effective and remain on track there must be a business plan to follow. One of the many faces of these entrepreneurs is that of a market researcher.

This means, it is up to the business owner to find out if the market is changing, how competition will affect his enterprise as well as how he will be able to attract and sustain his clientele.

These entrepreneur are also faced with the task of keeping the books and having the ability to do the accounting or hire an accountant.

Most small business entrepreneur primarily are out to generate income, while the high impact entrepreneur is primarily interested in wealth creation.

These different economic objectives lead to enormous inherent differences in the kinds of business the two entrepreneur types start.

Their risk/reward profiles; how they finance their businesses; and how they recruit and compensate their teams are very different.

The small typically tackles a business opportunity with the potential to generate operating cash flow, while the high-impact entrepreneur is primarily focused on the near/mid-term exit value of the business.

Entrepreneurs are not just vital to our economy, they are the central foundation that supports it and upon which it is built.

The tough times that we are in have brought out the very best in the men and women in the green industry.
They have proven, once again, that they are tougher than any “tough” times thrown at them.

That is why small business entrepreneurs are not only the foundation of our economy; they are the backbone of who we are as a people. The morals, ethics, values and character of these entrepreneurs is what makes them and us great.

These entrepreneurs face day to day challenges which can not only cause unneeded stress, but it also has the potential to cripple the business from the inside.

It is necessary to have additional support to uphold the day to day operation so you, as a leader, can focus on creativity and innovation – the living, breathing aspects of your business that make it expand and grow.

Unfortunately, as their businesses grow, they realize the complexities and large amount of daily, tedious work and management involved.

Are you leading the business of your dreams? Make sure you do the research, and if the passion, commitment, will and desire is there and you are not afraid to leave your comfort zone I say go for it.
